Lunar Drift Levitating Moon Lamp — Floating LED Night Light, Walnut or Ash Base
The moon floats. There is no wire, no stand and no visible support — it turns slowly in the air above its wooden base, and it does not stop being surprising.
Magnetic levitation is doing the work: an electromagnetic field in the base holds the sphere suspended and spinning, and charges it wirelessly while it floats. Touch the base and the LED inside the moon comes on. Touch again to cycle warm, white, or a gradient that drifts between the two.
Of everything we sell, this is the piece people pick up their phone to film.
Why people choose it
- It genuinely levitates. Not a clever mount or a clear rod — an actual magnetic field. Guests will try to find the trick.
- Charges while floating. Smart induction means you never take it down to power it.
- Three light modes. Warm, cool white, or a slow gradient between them. Touch control on the base, no app and no remote to lose.
- Soft enough to sleep near. Low-power LED that stays cool and gentle on the eyes — it works as a night light, not just a display piece.
- A wooden base, not plastic. Walnut or white ash, so it reads as furniture rather than gadget.
Getting it floating
Levitation takes a moment of patience the first time. You lower the sphere into the field and let it find its balance rather than forcing it into position — most people get it within a couple of minutes, and it becomes automatic after that. The base needs a level, stable surface away from large metal objects and other strong magnets.
It also hums very faintly. Most people never notice; a few do in a silent bedroom. Worth knowing before you buy it as a bedside light.

Questions people ask
Does it really float, or is there a stand?
It really floats. Magnetic levitation, roughly an inch of clear air beneath the sphere.
Is it hard to set up?
The first time, slightly. You lower the moon in and let it settle rather than pushing it. Two minutes of fiddling, then it's easy forever.
Does it make noise?
A very faint electromagnetic hum. Inaudible in a normal room; a light sleeper might notice it in total silence.
Will it interfere with anything?
Keep it away from credit cards, mechanical watches and hard drives, as you would any strong magnet. A normal desk or shelf is fine.
Which plug do I need?
Choose US, UK, EU or AU at checkout — no adapter required.
Is it bright enough to read by?
No, and deliberately so. It's ambient light and an object to look at, not a task lamp.
