The Sarmak is the most sculptural piece in our sconce range — a folded aluminium form that carries its LED inside the fold, so the light emerges from the shape rather than sitting on top of it. In a living room, above a console, or at the turn of a staircase, it does the job a small piece of wall art would do, and then lights the room as well.

Before you buy — the honest bit

This is a hardwired fixture, not a plug-in or battery light. It mounts to an existing wall junction box, and unless you're confident with household wiring it's a short job for an electrician. If you're renting, or there's no wiring in the wall you want to light, this isn't the right piece — and we'd rather tell you now than after it arrives.

It runs on 90–260V, so it works on both US and European supply.

Delivery & returns

Free worldwide shipping on every order. We dispatch within 3–5 business days; US delivery then takes 10–14 business days, so plan on three to four weeks door to door. We'd rather say that plainly than surprise you.

You have 30 days from delivery to return it for any reason. If it arrives damaged, send us a photo and we'll replace or refund it — we won't ask you to ship a broken light back across an ocean.

Questions people ask

Can I plug this in?
No. It's hardwired into a junction box. There's no cord or plug.

Where does it work best?
Anywhere you'd otherwise hang something — above a console table, beside a fireplace, on a stair turn. It's less suited to a narrow hallway, where the flatter Infinity is a better fit.

What colour is the light?
Warm white — closer to candlelight than daylight. Designed for atmosphere, not for reading by.

Can I use it in a bathroom?
It isn't rated for damp locations, so not inside a shower zone. Elsewhere in a well-ventilated bathroom is generally fine.

Does it come in white?
Yes — the same fixture is available in matte white.
