Before you buy — the honest bit

This is a hardwired fixture, not a plug-in or battery light. It mounts to an existing wall junction box, and unless you're comfortable with household wiring it's a short job for an electrician. Worth knowing before you plan a bedroom around it: if there's no wiring where you want the light, this isn't the right piece, and we'd rather say so now.

It runs on 90–260V, so it works on both US and European supply.

You have 30 days from delivery to return it for any reason. If it arrives damaged, send us a photo and we'll replace or refund it — we won't ask you to ship a broken light back across an ocean.

Is it bright enough to read by?
For most people, yes — the curve directs light downward onto a page. It's a warm reading light, not a task lamp.

Will it wake my partner?
That's what the curve is for. Light goes down and out rather than across the bed. It's noticeably better than a lamp with an open shade.

Can I plug this in?
No. It's hardwired into a junction box — no cord, no plug.

How high should I mount it?
Most people land around 24–30 inches above the mattress, slightly behind the shoulder. Hold it up and test before your electrician commits.

Does it come in white?
Yes — the same fixture is available in matte white.
